Re-Homing a Ferret

Please read before getting in touch

We are not a registered charity and all the work we do is from our own money and so we do ask for a donation from anyone wanting to give our ferrets a home.
We will ask lots of questions to ensure that we have ferrets for you and we do ask for some contact details from you for our records.

For spayed/castrated adults a set donation of £35 is asked for

The reason behnd the set donation
When a ferret arrives it is assessed for health and fitness all ferrets recieve frontline flea and tick treatment and have their ears cleaned with a liquid cleaner from the vet. The ferrets also regularly have their claws cut by us and then in addition to this they are given medication if nessecary. Many of the females also need a hormone injection before they can be spayed.  We then feed and care for the ferret as we would our own untill a new home can be found none of this is covered in the donation. The donation we ask is only enough to cover the Spay/castrate that is done by the vet. In the case of kits they arrive as young as 4 weeks old or are born here so can often mean 8wks or more of care and when weaned they are fed fresh raw meat untill they go to their new home.
